History was made Jan. 9 when the newly appointed Boulder City Finance Advisory Committee met for the first time in City Hall, with Ron Milne, left and Eric Estes, second from left, voted in as chairman and vice chairman, respectively. The five-member group also decided the first issues it wanted to tackle were items related to the Boulder Creek Golf Club and Utility Fund transfers to the general fund, with consideration of financing alternatives for the third straw coming next, followed by the upcoming city budget. The group?s next meeting is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday at City Hall, with meetings every other week after that.FRED COUZENS/VIEW
