HENDERSON LITTLE LEAGUE SEEKING PLAYERS

The Henderson Little League will be holding registration from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris St., in Henderson. Registration is open to boys and girls ages 5-15. Fees are $100 for T-ball and $125 for other age groups.

League boundaries cover the eastern part of Henderson, east of Gibson Road and south of Russell Road. For more information, call 565-7823.

Registration for the 2008 Paseo Verde Little League is available online through Jan. 31 at www.eteamz.active.com/paseoverdelittleleague. League play is available in different age groups, from ages 5-14, with fees ranging from $100 to $125. Coaches, sponsors and volunteers also are needed. SILVER STATE GIRLS LEAGUE SIGNING UP SOCCER PLAYERS

The Silver State Girls Soccer League is holding spring 2008 registration from 5 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 5, and final registration from 10 a.m. to noon on Feb. 9, at the league office, 5650 W. Charleston Blvd., Suite 13. Games will begin in March and will be played through June.

Fees are $50 for various age groups.

ADULT GOLF INSTRUCTION OFFERED AT CALLAWAY CENTER

Adult group golf instruction will be conducted at The Callaway Golf Center, 6730 Las Vegas Blvd. South, in three one-hour sessions on Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday, starting on Feb. 2.

Class size is limited to five students. Clubs can be provided.

The cost is $140 per person for the four-week program.
