The Da Vinci Experience, an exhibit with more than 60 working replicas of Leonardo da Vinci's inventions, is on display at the Henderson Convention Center, 200 S. Water St., through March 2. The exhibit runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
Tickets are $17 for adults or $8.50 for Nevada residents with ID, $12 for students and military personnel, and $55 for a family of five. Children age 6 and under get in for free. For information, call 267-2171.

Structuring the Invisible, a new exhibit by artist Brent Sommerhauser, will be on display Feb. 1-15 at the Clark County Government Center Rotunda Gallery, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway. An artist reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 1.
Sommerhauser is best known for his use of pencils as a sculptural material to create ocean surfaces.

Withering Heights, an exhibition of new paintings by Las Vegas native Elizabeth Blau, is on display at the Winchester Cultural Center, 3130 S. McLeod Drive, through Feb. 8.

BLACK AND WHITE BALL TO BENEFIT BALLET
Nevada Ballet Theatre announces that Twyla Tharp will be honored as its Woman of the Year 2008 at The Black and White Ball on Saturday at Wynn Las Vegas.
Proceeds will allow Nevada Ballet Theatre to continue to provide main stage productions by its professional company, quality dance training within its affiliated school, as well as through its education and outreach program.
