SCHOOL MATTERS TO BE ON VEGAS PBS
The CCSD, in cooperation with Vegas PBS, will conduct the next School Matters program on Thursday. During the live program, school district officials and board members will address topics and respond to questions submitted by viewers.

BARBERSHOP CHORUS OFFERS SINGING VALENTINES
The Las Vegas City Of Lights Barbershop Chorus, a nonprofit organization that provides support and help to local schools to encourage vocal music, is raising money through its Singing Valentines program. A typical Singing Valentine includes love songs, sung in barbershop harmony, a card and a long-stemmed rose, all presented by a barbershop quartet in formal attire.

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS
The Ronald McDonald House of Las Vegas and the McDonald's Owner Operators of Greater Las Vegas are offering scholarships to local graduating seniors with a 2.5 cumulative unweighted GPA who plan to attend an accredited, post-secondary education institution in the fall of 2008. The required application documents must be completed and returned to the Ronald McDonald house by March 7.

CULINARY SCHOOL HOSTING TEEN CHEF COMPETITION
The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Las Vegas is hosting The Art Institute's Best Teen Chef Competition 2008, which is open to high school seniors in the U.S. and Canada. Top prize winners in the competition will receive a full tuition scholarship toward an associate's degree, certificate or diploma program to study culinary arts at participating Art Institute locations.
