* An exhibit featuring the art of children's book author and illustrator Stephen Huneck is being shown inside the gallery at the Las Vegas Library, 833 Las Vegas Blvd. North. HOWARD HUGHES INTRIGUE
* Veteran journalist Geoff Schumacher, director of community publications for Stephens Media, will talk about his new book "Howard Hughes: Power, Paranoia & Palace Intrigue" at a Nevada State Museum book signing and panel discussion Feb. 5 at 5:30 p.m. The event, to take place at 700 Twin Lakes Drive inside Lorenzi Park, will be moderated by Lynn Zook of Friends of Classic Las Vegas.
