Adult volunteers are needed as tour guides at the McCaw School of Mines, 57 Lynn Lane. Tours are booked from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday throughout the nine-month school year. TEENS TO PUT CULINARY SKILLS TO TEST IN COMPETITION
The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Las Vegas is hosting The Art Institute's Best Teen Chef Competition 2008, which is open to high school seniors in the United States and Canada. Top prize winners in the competition can win a full tuition scholarship toward an associate's degree, certificate or diploma program to study culinary arts at participating Art Institute locations.
