GOLF TOURNAMENT TO BENEFIT SENIOR GAMES

Players of all ages are welcome to enjoy a round of golf at the Palms Golf Course in Mesquite at 7:30 a.m. on Friday. The tournament is hosted by the Nevada Senior Games. The entry fee is $100 or $115, including a room at the Virgin River or Casablanca resorts.

GYMNASTICS SCHOOL OFFERS SUMMER DAY CAMPS

The Vitaly Scherbo School of Gymnastics, 3250 N. Bronco St., is offering two weeks of themed summer day camp from Monday to July 11 and from Aug. 11-15. Weekly and daily rates are available.

JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS STARTS NEXT WEEK

The summer season of Junior Team Tennis, offered by the United States Tennis Association and the Nevada Tennis Association for ages 8 to 18, will start next week.

Matches will be held once a week, and the league will run for four weeks.

YOUTH INVITED TO PLAY AT FREE HOOPS FOR HOPE CAMP

College and senior high school basketball players will teach fundamentals to boys and girls in grades 4 through 8 in the free Hoops for Hope camp, planned for July 17-19 at the Las Vegas Doolittle Community Center, 1950 N. J St.

The city of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Service and the NBA's Golden State Warriors are sponsoring the event, which also will feature a parent workshop on July 19.
