SIDEWALK SCULPTURES

* Sandra Messina's bronze sculpture, titled "Antiquity of Love," was one of 11 new works of art placed on display on city streets by Boulder City Public Art Scape last month. Messina's art can be found near the corner of Nevada Way and Arizona Street.

TAKE A TRAIN RIDE

* The Nevada State Railroad Museum, 600 Yucca St., offers 45-minute rides on a seven-mile track. Hop aboard Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Cost is $8 with discounts for students and seniors. 486-5933.

SWING AWAY

* Instructor Rusty Postlewait at the Boulder City Golf Course, 1 Clubhouse Drive, gives lessons on the links with students allowed to set the schedule. A 45-minute lesson costs $60 and a package of six costs $300. 293-9236.

HISTORIC PRESERVATION

* The Historic Preservation Committee meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Council chambers at City Hall, 401 California Ave. 293-9208.

CHAMBER AMBASSADORS

* The Boulder City Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Meeting starts at noon Wednesday at the Chamber building, 465 Nevada Way. 293-2034.
