MOVIE IN THE PARK RETURNS TO CIMARRON ROSE

The free movie in the park program sponsored by the city of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services will feature "A Bug's Life" at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at Cimarron Rose Community Center, 5591 N. Cimarron Road. Admission is free and refreshments will be available for purchase.

EASTER, ST. PATRICK'S DAY EVENTS COMING UP

A free Easter egg hunt for ages 1 to 12 will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Gibson Community School, 3990 W. Washington Ave. Registration is required. For more information, call 229-5096.

The Eggspectactular egg hunt and carnival for kids will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Brinley Community School, 6150 Smoke Ranch Road. The cost for carnival games is $1 for 10 tickets. The children's egg hunt is free. For more information, call 229-2642.

MT. ZION TO HOST FAMILY ENRICHMENT CONFERENCE

JWA Ministries and the Mt. Zion Full Gospel Fellowship Church will hold the Family Enrichment Conference 2008 with conference sessions each night from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through March 19 at the church campus, 4901 Jean Ave. The conference is free and open to the public.

CITY ACCEPTING GRANT APPLICATIONS

The city of Las Vegas is accepting applications for Neighborhood Partners Fund Grants through April 25. Grants of up to $5,000 are available for neighborhood improvement projects that are planned and implemented by neighborhood associations registered with the city's Neighborhood Services Department. Applicants are required to match requested grant funds with volunteer labor, funding or other resources.

Applications must be mailed or delivered to the Neighborhood Services Department by 4:30 p.m. on April 25. The address is 400 Stewart Ave., Second Floor, Las Vegas, NV 89101. Visit www.lasvegasnevada.gov.

NORTHWEST MOMS CLUB TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE

The northwest chapter of the MOMS Club will hold an open house on Wednesday at 10 a.m. A park day is planned for March 31 at noon. The chapter is for mothers who live north of Cheyenne Avenue and west of Decatur Boulevard.

The club plans monthly meetings with speakers, activities, discussions, park play days, playgroups, special outings, holiday parties and more. The club meets during the day and children are welcome. Call Kim at 499-5680.
