NEVADA READING WEEK: A Celebration of Reading

Louie Traub/viewRonald McDonald reads "The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs" by Jon Scieszka to students at Snyder Elementary School, 4317 E. Colorado Ave., Feb. 25, as part of Nevada Reading Week festivities, Feb. 25-29. About 40 children in the kindergarten classes voted to hear Ronald read the story. Following storytime, Ronald took questions from the children, who asked about his dog and offered comments on the size of his feet. "Good readers make great leaders," Ronald advised the children as he left the classroom.
