Kids get hands-on for charity
Students create bowls to raise funds for group

Ober Elementary School's fifth-grade class is working to help the Las Vegas community.

As part of an art project, the students made ceramic bowls to be sold for charity. All proceeds from the creations will be donated to Street Teens.

All-star lineups defeat California competitors

Call it the ultimate win-win situation.

Two Summerlin youth basketball teams emerged victorious in game after game at a recent all-stars finals event. The way the bracket was set up, they ended up facing each other for the championship title.
