INDIVIDUAL TICKETS FOR CINEVEGAS NOW ON SALE

Individual tickets for films, panels and honoree tributes for the CineVegas Film Festival now are available. Festival passes and ticket packages also are available for purchase.

Tickets for most films are $10 each and are available at www.cinevegas.com or by calling 888-883-4278.

Individual movie tickets will be available at the box office at the Brenden Theatres at the Palms starting Monday.

New Exhibit opens at Clark County Government Center

Fauna, an exhibit by sculptor Jeff Fulmer, is now open at the Clark County Government Center Rotunda Gallery, 500 Grand Central Parkway, and will run through June 27.

Admission is free.

MUSICAL GROUP TO PRESENT TRIBUTE TO BROADWAY

The Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society will present "Fabulous Broadway," with legendary numbers ranging from the music of Tin Pan Alley to state-of-the-art, contemporary Broadway.

The 50-voice Musical Arts Chorus, under the direction of Dr. Douglas R. Peterson, accompanied by Marek Racheslski, will perform "Give My Regards to Broadway," "Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin'," "Hello, Dolly," "Mame," "Everything's Coming Up Roses," "Send in the Clowns," "Memory" and "The Ballad of Sweeney Todd."

Performances will take place at 8 p.m. Saturday and at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Horn Theatre at the College of Southern Nevada, 3200 E. Cheyenne Ave. This is the closing concert of the Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society's 45th season.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $9 for seniors, students, military personnel and the disabled, and may be reserved or purchased at the college's box office by calling 651-5483.

WOODY WOODS BRINGS LOCAL FLAIR TO JAZZ SERIES

The Jazz in the Park concert series continues its 20th year with the Woody Woods Big Band at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Clark County Amphitheater, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway.

Seating for those with picnic baskets, blankets and low-back chairs will begin at 7 p.m. Food vendors also will be available on site. Parking is free.

GET ILLUMINATED ABOUT LAS VEGAS NEON

Residents can learn about the history of neon in Las Vegas and talk to designers who created some of the city's neon signs.

The event is set for 7 to 8:30 p.m. June 5 at the Springs Preserve at 333 S. Valley View Blvd. The cost is $12 for nonmembers, $10 for members and $6.50 for children ages 5 to 17. For information, call 822-7786.

REGGAE TO BE FEATURED AT AMPHITHEATER

Live reggae by international artists Judy Mowat, Barrington Levy, The Mighty Diamonds and the Wailing Souls will be featured during Las Vegas' seventh annual Reggae in the Desert at 2 p.m. June 14 at the Clark County Government Center Amphitheater, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway.

Vendors will provide souvenirs, exhibits, food and beverages, and guests may bring their own blankets for lawn seating, as well as personal unopened bottles of water. Domestic and imported beer will be available.
