ANGEL PARK TO HOST RESCUE MISSION BENEFIT

The fourth annual Charity Golf Tournament benefiting the Las Vegas Rescue Mission and Shelter of Hope will take place at 7 a.m. on Friday at Angel Park Golf Club, 100 S. Rampart Blvd. Proceeds will be used to help fund Shelter of Hope programs that provide services to women and children. The entry fee is $139. For more information, call 498-9808.

CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT SET FOR JUNE 3 AT SILVERSTONE

American Medical Response and MedicWest Ambulance are hosting the Southern Nevada Emergency Medical Services Charity Golf Tournament on June 3 at 1 p.m. at Silverstone Golf Club, 8600 Cupp Drive. Registration is $100 and sponsorship opportunities are available.

The United States Tennis Association recently announced award winners in the state of Nevada this year. They include Jeff Foley, USTA-Nevada Teaching Professional of the Year; Fernando Sunago and Sarah Bessen, Most Improved District Players; Brendan Aguilar and Chrissy Uriarte, Most Improved National Players; Kristofer Yee and Gabrielle Smith, Most Promising; Brian Brunskole and Brenda Aguilar, Rookies of the Year; Yannik Mahlangu and Victoire Saperstein, Sportsmanship; Omar Garcia, Josh Muterspaw Award; the Lovetts, Family of the Year Award; the Marty Hennessy Foundation, NJTL Foundation of the Year; Evan Song and Asia Muhammad, Players of the Year; and Mani Trump, Rudy Ruettiger Award.

ARBOR VIEW HIGH HOSTING CHILDREN'S TENNIS CAMP

Arbor View High School tennis is accepting registration for its children's tennis camp, set for the week of June 9. The camp is open to youth ages 8 to 14, and camp starts each morning at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 12:30 p.m.

YOUTH SUMMER BASKETBALL LEAGUES SIGNING UP PLAYERS

The city of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services invites boys and girls ages 3 to 16 to participate in Saturday Junior NBA and Junior WNBA leagues that begin June 14 and continue for six weeks at schools and community centers around the valley.

The cost is $35 for ages 3 and 4, $45 for ages 5 and 6, and $65 for ages 7 to 16. Registration is open until teams and leagues are full.

GIRLS BASKETBALL CAMP SET AT CHURCH

Durango High School girls basketball coach John Bartleson will be holding his third annual summer girls basketball camp from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 23-25 at Christ the King Catholic Community, 4925 Torrey Pines Drive at Tropicana Avenue. The camp is open to girls entering fourth grade through 10th grade.
