NORTH VISTA HOSPITAL ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE
Twenty-year veteran of the health care industry Vincenzo Variale was recently named Chief Executive Officer of North Vista Hospital, 1409 E. Lake Mead Blvd. Variale most recently served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer at the hospital. Variale graduated from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois and has been a resident of Las Vegas since 1985.
PUBLIC REVIEW OF ECONOMIC PLAN REQUESTED
The Southern Nevada Enterprise Community was created on the recommendation of Housing and Urban Development in an effort to develop a strategic plan to overcome poverty, unemployment and lack of residential and commercial development in the valley.
Senate Bill 352 called for the creation of an advisory board in partnership with local government, private sector and residents to help develop a community plan for the Enterprise Community of Southern Nevada, which was a federal designation. A draft economic development plan is available for public review and comment at the North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, 3345 W. Craig Road.
