MAKE-A-WISH FOUNDATION: Going bald for charity
Father shaves his head after making a promise to his 6-year-old daughter

There are a few more bald guys strolling the halls of the Pepsi Bottling Group plant after three employees shaved their heads to put a smile on leukemia patient Leila Shiblaq's face and to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada.

Pepsi plant manager Ziad Shiblaq was the first to shave his head on Oct. 31 -- his birthday, and, of course, Halloween -- to show his 6-year-old daughter that she's not alone. He invited anyone else in the company to go bald, as well. Pepsi senior project manager Ron Hatfield and Chad Buechel from the Pepsi Bottling Group plant in Fresno, Calif., took him up on it.

Twelve- to 14-year-old girls' programs win spots in Florida tournament

This sports league is different. Girls aren't picked last. They're not talked over. They don't hand out water bottles on the sidelines.

Instead, they're handed footballs, taught the rules of the game alongside boys, and then they go on to win national championships.
