USTA REGISTERING FOR FALL TENNIS CLASSES

The USTA/Nevada fall tennis classes for youth and adults are being held on Monday at several parks around the Las Vegas Valley. The deadline to register is Friday.

Classes will be held at Aloha Shores Park, Trent Park, Bunker Park, Duck Creek Park, Lone Mountain Park, Mountain Ridge Park, Paul Meyer Park, Puccini Park, Cinnamon Ridge Park, White Middle School and in Henderson at the Black Mountain Recreation Center. For more information, call 792-8384.

BEST OF THE WEST LACROSSE TOURNEY SET FOR SATURDAY

The Best of the West Lacrosse Tournament will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday at the Kellogg-Zaher Sports Complex, 7901 W. Washington Ave. There will be college-level play involving 21 teams from six Western states, as well as merchandise vendors and refreshments.

WOMEN'S FOOTBALL CAMP SET FOR TEXAS STATION

The Las Vegas Showgirlz will present the Women's Football Camp & Conference on Nov. 6-9 at the Texas Station, 2101 Texas Star Lane. Limited spaces are available for female athletes interested or thinking about playing tackle football. The event will teach skills and feature workshops and guest speakers, as well as provide information and resources from all three major women's football leagues in the country.
