SPOTLIGHT ON: STREETS OF NEW YORK
7570 Norman Rockwell lane, village of Centennial springs, 221-1010
It appears to be a small pizzeria on a big city street, but Streets of New York is actually a full-service restaurant offering salads, sandwiches, pasta, pizza and more. Classic American bar decor is the theme for the first Las Vegas location of a popular Arizona franchise, known for making its pizza and everything else from scratch. Diners can choose their own crust and sauce to customize their pizza, or stick with one of the gourmet options, including garlic chicken or shrimp with alfredo sauce, roasted garlic and sun-dried tomatoes; or Primavera, an assortment of fresh vegetables and cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. The New York-style pizza comes in thin or traditional crust, with sauces of tomato, alfredo, barbecue or pesto and, of course, a wide selection of toppings. Appetizers include chicken fingers, potato skins and beer-battered mozzarella sticks. Salad options are Caesar, chopped antipasto and Greek. The restaurant also serves a variety of calzones, pastas and hot subs. Streets of New York is open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
