I just wanted to say that I didn't realize there was a literary section in the View (Reading: Literary Las Vegas). I can't tell you how much that pleases me, because it shows a side of the area that most visitors and residents don't see. I didn't know the authors listed actually live in LV. I know of one more who writes urban fantasy: Vicki Pettersson, who is a native and used to be a showgirl. I love her books.
Anyway, I read every article in the literary section and even e-mailed a couple of authors who nicely replied.
As a side note, I have a "I Love to Read" Nevada license plate supporting Nevada libraries. I found out a few months ago that there will be no more of these issued for "lack of interest." Isn't that sad?
