BLOOD DRIVE

* The LDS Chapel Gym, 916 Fifth St., is the site of a community blood drive from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday. All donors will receive a voucher for two all-day passes to The Adventuredome indoor amusement park at Circus Circus in Las Vegas. Call 795-8335 to make an appointment.

ALZHEIMER'S SUPPORT

* The Homestead at Boulder City, 1401 Medical Park Drive, offers a free Alzheimer's Support Group meeting for caregivers starting at 10 a.m. Thursday. 294-8720.

RIDE THE RAILROAD

* The Nevada State Railroad Museum, 600 Yucca St., offers 45-minute rides along a seven-mile track. Hop aboard Saturday and Sunday at 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The cost is $8 per ride with discounts offered to students and seniors. 486-5933.

FIT FOR LIFE

* The Boulder City Community Fitness Center, 801 Adams Blvd., is open seven days a week and the daily fee to use the facilities is $3. Hours are 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. 293-0870.

SWING AWAY

* Boulder City Golf Course, 1 Clubhouse Drive, offers lessons with instructor Rusty Postlewait. A 45-minute lesson costs $60, and a package of six costs $300. The student gets to choose his or her lesson schedule. 293-9236.
