Local kids to star in show
Missoula Children's Theatre to present 'Little Mermaid'

The Missoula Children's Theatre is back in Henderson, and there's still time to audition to be part of the production.

The first two of the four performances of "The Little Mermaid" will take place at 3 and 7 p.m. Saturday at the Henderson Convention Center, 200 S. Water St. On Monday, the second round of auditions will be held at the Valley View Recreation Center, 500 Harris St.

Pittman Library closes, but hope for new facility remains

For more than a decade, the Henderson Library District has been trying to make the Pittman Library a success. But in February, the doors were closed for the last time.

"Obviously, like everyone, we're looking at what's performing and what's not performing," said Tom Fay, executive director of the Henderson Library District. "None of us can afford to be doing anything that isn't working right now."
