MALL EXHIBIT DISPLAYS NATIVE AMERICAN DRESS
Artist Laurieta Carter will present her free exhibit of Native American children's ceremonial regalia through Saturday at the Charleston Antique Mall, 307 W. Charleston Blvd.
Carter, a member of the Las Vegas Paiute tribe, has been making Pow Wow dress worn in ceremonies and dance competitions for about 13 years.

Zombie Squad Las Vegas Chapter will host its St. Patrick's Day Revivicated canned food drive and concert starting at 10 p.m. April 29 at McMullan's Irish Pub, 4650 W. Tropicana Ave. Darby O'Zombie and the Undead Little People will perform a mix of traditional Irish music and zombie rock.

Baseball league in search of 9- and 11-year-old players
Badger Baseball, based in the Centennial Hills area, has league openings for 9- and 11-year-olds. The team plays year round, both locally and out of state. Cost varies month to month. Players cannot turn 10 or 12 years old before May 1 to qualify.

LOCAL WELLNESS COACH KICKS OFF WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE
A group of wellness coaches will hold 12-week community weight loss challenges in different locations throughout the valley. The sessions begin today and April 23. Cost is $39, which includes a personal coach, a body analysis and group support. Registration money will be paid out in cash prizes to the three who lose the most weight.

AFFORDABLE SENIOR HOUSING COMPLEX OPEN FOR RENTERS
Harmon Pines Senior Apartments, a new senior housing development, recently opened at 6000 W. Harmon Ave. as the first housing project to benefit from the Southern Nevada Public Land Management Act. Harmon Pines has 105 apartments, including six that are fully handicapped accessible.
Monthly rent starts at $390 for a one-bedroom apartment and $460 for a two-bedroom apartment.
