Eat out for a good cause

Café Bleu, the restaurant at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, 1451 Center Crossing Road, is hosting the Ride Around the World Dinner benefiting the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation at 5:30 p.m. Friday. There will be a silent auction and cocktails, with a four-course dinner and wine.

Cost is $95 per person or $90 per person for a table of four or more. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Miriam or Michelle at 795-2000.

LE CORDON BLEU PRESENTS COMMUNITY COOKING CLASSES

Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, 1451 Center Crossing Road, offers cooking classes to the community from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on select dates. April 25 will cover cupcakes, candy and cookies.

Cost varies per class, but ranges from $125 to $150, and includes a continental breakfast and lunch.

CHARLIE'S LAKESIDE OFFERS CHAMPAGNE BRUNCH

Charlie's Lakeside, 8603 W. Sahara Ave., now offers a champagne brunch every Sunday on its patio with jazz and easy listening music performed live.

The champagne brunch runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and each guest receives a complimentary glass of champagne.

The patio dining includes dishes such as eggs Benedict and filet medallions with eggs, egg sardou, Creole omelet and French toast bananas foster.
