Jacob Richardson, 19, has achieved Eagle status in the Boy Scouts of America.

Richardson, a member of Troop 549, is a senior at Green Valley High School, where he participates in choir, band and is choir officer.

He enjoys sports and music, and is a senior patrol leader in the Boy Scouts.

He is the son of Sullivan and Laurie Richardson of Henderson.

Matthew Rillera, 16, has achieved Eagle status in the Boy Scouts of America.

Rillera, a member of Troop 99, is a junior at Bishop Gorman High School, where he is a member of the National Honor Society, Community Service Club and the Science Club.

He enjoys playing guitar, and hopes to pursue a career in business and finance.

Rillera is the son of Carmelo and Mariza Rillera of Las Vegas.

Craig T. Smith, 15, has achieved Eagle status in the Boy Scouts of America.

Smith, a member of Troop 848, is a freshman at Del Sol High School.

He enjoys basketball and camping, and hopes to become a paramedic/EMT and eventually a firefighter.

He is the son of R. Wayne Smith of Las Vegas.

Frank Lerma Jr., 11, and his brother Jaylen Lerma, 9, achieved perfect attendance and honor roll in their Sunday school class.

Both boys attend Don B. Hayden Elementary School and play offense and defense on the Bobcats football team, for which Jaylen was named player of the game for 2008.

They are the sons of Tina and Frank Lerma Sr. of Las Vegas.

Danielle Otter, 12, has been nominated and will attend the People to People Leadership Program in Washington, D.C., in April.

During this youth leadership program for outstanding students, Danielle will study the operations of Congress, the House and Senate and the Supreme Court, as well as visit the Smithsonian Museum and national monuments.

Danielle is in the sixth grade at The Meadows School.

She is the daughter of Danielle and Victoria Otter of Las Vegas.
