Boulder City Council members voted unanimously Feb. 10 to allocate a portion of its Community Development Block Grant funds to Emergency Aid of Boulder City and Lend-A-Hand to help supplement their budgets for the next fiscal year.
The total amount of $28,119, which represents 15 percent of Boulder City's share of the Clark County block grant funding, will be split, with Emergency Aid getting 74 percent, or $20,808, and Lend-A-Hand receiving the remaining 28 percent, or $7,311.
