CALA ACADEMY: Language lessons
School offers Spanish and English instruction for individuals and groups

CALA Academy is a Spanish and English language school, with an emphasis on inter-cultural communication. It caters to students of all levels and abilities, including those with no second language knowledge or who are bilingual, from children to adults.

Volunteers to count homeless across valley this week
County must conduct census every other year to receive federal funds

As Clark County and city agencies prepare for the first countywide homeless census in almost two years, officials said they anticipate the number of homeless people in the valley may be on the rise.

According to Shannon West, regional homeless coordinator for the Southern Nevada Regional Planning Coalition, homelessness in the valley may be both expanding and changing.
