FAVORITE SONS & DAUGHTERS
"This is Gavroche (Gavrosh)," wrote Marika of Las Vegas. "(He?s) our Shetland sheepdog. He is 3 years old and his birthday is on Jan. 17, right after mine! He has never run away from us, and is a very good watchdog. Whenever he hears the sound of a car, or when a person knocks on the door, he runs as fast as he canand barks nonstop until he reaches the spot where he heard the sound. Funny, isn?t it? He absolutely hates cats and chases them when he sees them, though, of course,he fails (to catch them). Gavroche is our first dog and once you meet him you?ll love him by looking at his happy eyes."
"These are my two sons ? one with fur and one with feathers," wrote Carol Grotewold of North Las Vegas. "Rags, the cat, is smiling for the camera, while Tuxedo, the cockatoo parrot, with his head held high, thinks he holds the dominant position. But the cat wins by slowly inching his way to the end of the wall forcing the parrot to flee his perch. They are always jealous and challenging each other."
