The Omelet House will open a downtown location at the Union Plaza Hotel, 1 S. Main St.
The new location will feature a nostalgic diner and will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Omelet House's original locations at 2160 W. Charleston Blvd. and 316 N. Boulder Highway both will remain open. The new location at the Plaza was expected to open by the end of June.

Freed's Bakery invites anyone to submit a photo capturing their favorite Freed's memory to its Best Freed's Photo contest.
Customers can submit a photo at either of the Freed's Bakery locations, 4780 S. Eastern Ave. or 9555 S. Eastern Ave., or by e-mail at info@freedsbakery.com.
The contest will run through Oct. 10 and marks the first event in honor of the bakery's 50th anniversary. The photo contest, which started May 1, will illustrate the past 50 years of Freed's celebrations all over town. Customers can submit photos of events throughout their lives that feature a Freed's creation.
The top two winners will each receive a Freed's cake on their birthday for life, and runners-up will win an assortment of treats from the bakery.
All winning photographs will be published on the bakery's Web site, www.freedsbakery.com.
