Desirae Montoya, 14, completed middle school at Del Webb Middle School with straight A's all three years.
Montoya was ranked sixth out of 525 students. She is a member of the Junior National Honor Society and the Del Webb Choir.
She hopes to become a doctor and will attend Coronado High School, taking all honors classes.
Montoya is the daughter of Mark Montoya of Henderson.
Luke James Bergen, 11, will attend the Junior National Young Leaders Conference in Washington, D.C., this summer.
Luke just finished the fifth grade at Staton Elementary School.
He is a straight-A student and enjoys baseball, basketball and swimming.
Luke is the son of Ed and Annette Bergen of Las Vegas.
Laura Miller was called to the Torah at a bat mitzvah on May 23 at Temple Sinai.
Her mitzvah project was to create and send hand-made cards to children with catastrophic illnesses through Make a Child Smile.
She just completed the seventh grade at Hyde Park Middle School.
Miller recently performed at Carnegie Hall in New York with the Hyde Park Honor Choir.
She enjoys singing, baton twirling, art and photography.
Miller is the daughter of Scott and Debbie Miller of Las Vegas.
Thayer Rosenberg of Las Vegas has graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from the university's college of arts and sciences.
