Gaming venue gets a face-lift
Lucky Club owner re-brands former Speedway Casino

Lucky Club chief operating officer Seth Schorr has had to contend with a nasty electrical fire, a tanking economy and the closure of the most convenient freeway exit to his property since taking over what used to be the Speedway Hotel and Casino in June. But, even with all of the pitfalls along the way, Schorr said he has bright hopes for the future and is feeling pretty lucky, indeed.

After taking over the property, located at 3227 Civic Center Drive, last year, Schorr said that the first order of business was a re-branding process that would make the property not just more aesthetically pleasing, but that would cater to the clientele base in the area.
