Hot rod sale, show marks eighth year

Goldstrom, who moved to Las Vegas from Reno in 1940, will host the eighth annual Car Show & Auto Parts Garage Sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 7. Helping him with the event will be his wife, Shirley, and daughter Sheri. "Our family lives cars," said Sheri, who knows as much about cars as her father. "All of them are operable and in two buildings that total 18,000 square feet. There are Model Ts, a 1910 Sears Roebuck truck (and) a 1930 Ford Roadster." Anyone interested in displaying a car can call873-6576. Proceeds from the event will benefit Parkinson?s disease causes. The show is free and open to the public.
