The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking a suspect in connection with an Oct. 28 bank robbery in the area of Decatur Boulevard and Cactus Avenue. The suspect entered the bank at 9:20 a.m. and presented a note at the counter demanding money, police said. She then fled with the money in a dark red or maroon 1990s Camaro driven by a male, police said. Police said they also are seeking a witness who left the bank prior to their arrival. He is described as a black male between age 18 and 25 who was wearing a hoodie and a ball cap. Residents are asked to call the police department at 828-3591 with any relevant information. To remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555. A cash reward may be available if information leads to the suspect's arrest and conviction.
