REMEDY'S TAVERN TO HOST FUNDRAISING EVENT

Remedy's tavern will sponsor and host the second annual Kennedy Kares fundraising event from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday at 3265 St. Rose Parkway

The event, which raised $12,000 last year for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, is the brainchild of Henderson residents Anthony and Nikki Aukofer in honor of their daughter, Kennedy. The couple said they were blessed with a healthy child and wanted to give back to the community.

Attendees can participate in a silent auction, with items that include lunch for 10 at Remedy's, rounds of golf, U2 concert tickets and a mini poker machine, among others.

Complimentary food will be available for those who donate. One hundred percent of donations will go directly to St. Jude.
