'I've been waiting years'
Crafters celebrate opening of area's first Hobby Lobby

Even with an economic downturn and high unemployment, some residents found hope and work with the opening of craft supply store Hobby Lobby.

About 65 people found a job and a little relief amid a 14.3 percent unemployment rate in Nevada.

Doctor uses ultrasound technology to improve skin flaws

After about 14 years as a stay-at-home mother, Cynthia Smith found herself ready to return to the workforce. But with the daunting task of re-entering the job market, Smith wanted to find a confidence booster that would aid her in her pursuit.

She found her solution at Academic Dermatology of Nevada through Ultherapy, a new treatment that uses ultrasound energy to bring improvement to problem areas.
