Las Vegas hip-hop artist B. Taylor isn't necessarily one to believe in fate, but he can't get past the bit of serendipitous luck that last year changed his life forever.

"What I have noticed about life is that the key is being in the right place at the right time," he said. "I've been very, very lucky in that way."
