In celebration of National Bagel Day today, Las Vegas Valley Panera Bread locations asked guests to vote for Las Vegas' favorite bagel.
The winner will be announced today, and from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., the winning bagel will be complimentary to all Panera Bread guests.

Sammy's Woodfired Pizza has kits starting at $5 for Valentine's day
Sammy's Woodfired Pizza is offering Sammy's Pizza Kits starting at $5 from Friday through Sunday.
The kits include all the ingredients to make a Sammy's award-winning pizza at home. Traditional flavor is $5, whole wheat is $6 and a gluten-free option is $8.

ITALIAN AMERICAN CLUB PLANS BUFFET AND SHOW TO HONOR VALENTINE'S DAY
The Italian American Club, 2333 E. Sahara Ave., will host the Sweetheart Love Buffet and Show at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Elvis tribute artist Donnie Fox and The E/Z Road Band will entertain, and a pre-show buffet is planned.

ENVY PRESENTS SPECIAL PRIX FIXE MENU
ENVY The Steakhouse, located in the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel at 3400 Paradise Road, will offer a prix fixe menu with five courses for $70 for Valentine's Day.
First course selections are raw Fannie Bay oysters, lobster risotto or Wagyu short rib ravioli. Second course selections are artichoke-brie soup, Green Goddess salad or baby beet salad. Entree choices are black striped bass with lobster-brie enchilada, baby chicken duet or grilled beef tenderloin. Dessert choices are chocolate-espresso torte or Perfect Couple, lemon verbena panna cotta, balsamic-strawberry sauce and strawberry veloute-absinthe shooter.

ROY'S TO PREPARE HAWAIIAN-STYLE VALENTINE'S DAY MEAL
Roy's Hawaiian Fusion Cuisine, 620 E. Flamingo Road, announces its four-course Valentine's Day pre fixe menu.
Appetizer choices are Trinh Dynasty dim sum duo, sweet soy-marinated agedashi tofu, Maryland-style baked jumbo lump crab cakes, kim chee salmon tartare or T&C Wagyu beef roll.
Soup or salad choices are Uncle Sinh's Wagyu beef pho, Maine lobster bisque, Fuji apple and grilled endive salad or Mandarin orange and goat cheese mizuna salad.
The main entrée determines the price of the dinner and includes these seafood selections: Hawaiian-style misoyaki butterfish for $59.95, whole Maine lobster cooked two ways for $75.95, herb-marinated and seared Australian barramundi for $59.95, soy nut-crusted U-10 day boat scallops for $62.95, Four Treasures Hawaiian opakapaka for $64.95, pan-seared yuba-wrapped black tiger prawns for $54.95 or garlic-seared island ahi for $62.95.

SAM'S TOWN RESTAURANTS TO SERVE VALENTINE'S DAY FARE
Billy Bob's Steakhouse and Saloon inside Sam's Town, 5111 Boulder Highway, will serve a Sweetheart Dinner for Two from 4 to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
The menu will include a champagne cocktail (one per person), a starter of Melty Baked Brie and an entree of Filet Mignon Supreme and Lobster Combination (beef tenderloin steak wrapped in bacon with wild mushroom ragout and port wine demi-glace, served with an Australian lobster tail and baby red rose potatoes and green and white asparagus). The cost is $95.
Willy and Jose's Cantina will offer a special menu from 4 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, including prime rib and crab legs for $21 (slow-roasted prime rib and a pound of snow crab legs, served with baked potato, fresh vegetable and soup or salad). Willy and Jose's (two grilled filet medallions topped with smoked bacon, provolone cheese, ranchero sauce and cheddar cheese, served with beans and rice) will be $15. Grilled salmon Mexicana (fresh Pacific salmon seasoned and grilled in a spicy sauce, served with vegetables, beans and rice) will be $14.

CULINARY COLLEGE PLANS SATURDAY COOKING CLASS OPEN TO COMMUNITY
Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Las Vegas, 1451 Center Crossing Road, again will be offering cooking classes to the community from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on select dates in 2010.
Saturday's class will teach about romantic favorites.
The cost is $85 per person. Credit card information is required to hold a reservation.

SPRINGS CAFE TO HOST COOKING CLASSES
Chef Peter Sherlock of the Springs Cafe by Wolfgang Puck at the Springs Preserve is hosting cooking classes from 6 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 17 and March 17 in the Big Springs Theater, 333 S. Valley View Blvd.
Each class costs $50 for Springs Preserve members and $75 for nonmembers.
At the Feb. 17 class, students will learn about the art of stir-fry, and the group on March 17 will learn about spring produce.
