TAKE ME HOME
LAS VEGAS VALLEY HUMANE SOCIETY
HEATHER
Heather's first family ran out of money for cat food and dropped her outside. When Heather hit the ground, she repeatedly tried to run back inside, but the door to her home was slammed shut. With inadequate food and no shelter, she quickly became weak and malnourished. Neighborhood kids were seen dragging Heather on the sidewalk by her tail. Amazingly, she still loves people once you earn her trust. She loves being talked to, sitting with you on the couch, gentle brushing and other cats.
The Las Vegas Valley Humane Society rescues and rehabilitates homeless animals. For information, call 434-2009, or visit www.lvvhumane.org.
GREYHOUND PETS OF AMERICA LAS VEGAS
SUMMER AND SUNNY
This photo of Summer and Sunny shows them doing what they do best -- napping. Having retired from greyhound racing in Arizona, they traveled to Las Vegas to begin the life of leisure. Summer is a black, 5-year-old girl, and Sunny is a red fawn, 2 years old. Both girls are spayed, their medical is complete and they are ready for loving homes. They are being fostered together; however, they do not need to be placed together.
Visit our Greyhound Pets of America Las Vegas's We b site at www.gpalv.com for more information.
