NAME: Christine Wetzel
BIO: Christine H. Wetzel has lived in Las Vegas for nine years. Originally from Rochester, New York she studied at Monroe Community College where she was photo editor of the college newspaper and received an A.A.S. majoring in Photography.
After graduating from Community College, she moved to Santa Barbara, California, where she attended Brooks Institute of Photography, receiving a B.F.A. in Color Theory and Commercial Photography.
She has won several awards for the NPA (Nevada Press Association) and Photographers Forum. Since moving to Las Vegas she freelanced for the Review-Journal and played an active role in establishing the View Neighborhood Newspaper's photo department where she serves as chief photographer. |
